Returns & Refunds Policy

We understand that plans may change, and we strive to maintain transparency in all aspects of booking and cancellations. This policy outlines the rights and responsibilities of both the tenant and Pier Coliving regarding cancellations and refunds.

1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of an advance payment or security deposit, the amount and terms of which will be communicated in writing (email/WhatsApp) or via a signed agreement. Verbal communication does not constitute a confirmed booking.

2. Cancellation by Tenant (Pre-Move-In)

  • Within 24 hours of payment:
    100% of the booking amount is refundable.

  • After 24 hours and up to 7 days before move-in:
    50% of the booking amount is refundable.

  • Within 7 days of the move-in date:
    No refund will be issued.

3. Cancellation by Tenant (Post-Move-In)

If the tenant decides to leave before the end of their lease term:

  • A written notice (typically 30 days) is required.

  • Rent for the entire notice period is payable, even if the tenant vacates early.

  • The security deposit will be refunded only after deduction of:

    • Damages to property

    • Unpaid dues

    • Early exit penalties (if applicable)

Refunds may take 10–15 business days to process post-final inspection.

4. Cancellation by Pier Coliving

We reserve the right to cancel a tenant’s stay in the event of:

  • Breach of community rules or house policies

  • Misrepresentation or fraud in booking details

  • Failure to pay rent/deposit on time

In such cases, refunds may not be applicable.

5. Force Majeure Clause

Pier Coliving is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government lockdowns

  • Epidemics/pandemics

  • Civil unrest

We may, however, offer credit notes or defer bookings where possible.

6. Refund Mode

  • Refunds will be issued through the original method of payment unless otherwise discussed.

• Refund processing time: 7–15 working days post-approval.
